Cape May - The electric bikes in downtown CM are a hazard. Wake up City Council before someone is seriously hurt or worse. While stopped at a crosswalk to allow folks to cross the street to the beach today, three electric bikes with zero knowledge or regard for the rules of the road literally ran into the people crossing the street in the crosswalk. Fortunately no one was hurt. Would it make sense to put "slow moving vecicle" plates on the bikes just like any other MOTOR vehicle? They should also be required to follow the rules of the road like any other motorized vehicle.
