Cape May - The effort to recall the mayor of Cape May has failed, and many people are in disbelief that the group who initiated the recall could not get the required number of signatures. Much of what I've read since the recall's failed attempts is blaming the people of Cape May for not joining the recall effort. I'm a registered voter in Cape May. I was never contacted or asked to sign a petition, and I never heard or read anything that instructed me about who to contact to sign a recall petition. Could it be that the recall failed because it was poorly organized and executed?
