Cape May - C.M. has a great Desal Water Plant that provides over 2 million gallons of perfect water a day, but we run short at peak times during the summer and draw on Lower Twp. well water to mix with our water to meet the City and tourist, Coast Guard, W.Cape May & C.M Point demands. This is an expensive process. The council has delayed moving the needed expansion forward. It makes no sense to delay the Request For Proposals to design and move forward. It may take 2 years before a new expansion will be on-line.
