Cape May - As the city taxpayers become more absentee vacation homeowners their interest in the city and the decisions are of less interest, but beware the 3-2 majority are counting on this and just watch. The budget is increasing each year, taxes are increased, water & sewer are increased, house prices are increasing, more older homes are replaced with larger homes, control of the city yields to commercial interests and the quality of our historic city will decline, all of which spells serious problems.
