Cape May - The City of Cape May has filed a lawsuit against the CMC prosecutor for abuse of power regarding monitoring its police department. The city is also on the receiving end of a lawsuit regarding demotion of its police chief without due process. Release of reports and transparency regarding public accountability and legal expenses are being intentionally denied by both of these entities regarding damage control.
