Cape May - Cape May might ban biking on the promenade after 8 a.m. for safety reasons. People want to bike along the beachfront and that's why they use the promenade. If they make them get off the promenade at the early time of 8 a.m., they'll bike on the only other beachfront thoroughfare in Cape May which is Beach Avenue, the most dangerous street for bicyclists. Forcing bikes into the streets, whether they have bike lanes or not, doesn't sound very safe. A bicyclist was just killed in Philadelphia while traveling in a biking lane.
