Cape May - The canceling of the Aug. 13 meeting re: the public safety building was blamed on the costs being too high, $19-23 million. This cost was known for many months. The fact is the 3-2 majority never had a public meeting to manage the building project. The 3-2 majority pushed that duty to a committee and they went wild with a want list that was extravagant. That's two years lost.
