Cape May - To all locals and visitors to Cape May: Once the meters are off, I believe Nov. 1, you can park close to the mall, near restaurants, in the area where the signs read "parking for residents only." These signs for some reason are a permanent fixture. You can not get a ticket for parking once the meters are off for the season. Some people avoid these spots, but don't. From what I hear, a chance these will be gone after this season. Let's hope so.
