What happened ? It seems like yesterday that everyone was holding hand’s singing “We are the World”. I knew people who had eleven JC Penney credit cards ( all legal )and when one didn’t work another one in the collection might. Was it that long ago, when commercial areas were packed with spenders ? Remember when shop lifting was considered to be as low as a human could go ? I remember when you’d go into a bank and they’d either give you a balloon or a lollipop, now they harass you if you’re taking too much of your own money out. Remember if you couldn’t afford to live somewhere, you didn’t?
