We agree with Council members Mullock and Sheehan that extending the hours that alcohol is allowed on City Streets should not have been passed. Apparently the three who voted for it don't live in the area where most of the alcohol is consumed. If they did, they would not think it a good idea. We live near the mall and the rowdy noise on the streets at night is something we have never heard before in all of the time we have lived in Cape May. It is ridiculous. And we find a lot of cups and trash in our yard constantly.
