The unsanctioned car rally in Wildwood and Middle Township on Saturday, September 24 was an abomination. There were over a thousand attendees/rioters, two people were killed, they displayed total disregard for life or property and complete disrespect and indifference toward police. This event was as bad as any riots I've ever witnessed. Something has to be done. Police need to be able to take strong action against this type of barbarianism. Of course, towns don't have enough cops. Why would anyone want a job where you have enormous responsibility and no power to take any significant action.
