California labor leader David Huerta, 58, was released from federal custody on Monday on a $50,000 bond after being falsely charged with "conspiracy to impede an officer." He is President of California's chapter of SEIU that represents 750,000 members in 17 local unions across 58 counties with members that are nurses, healthcare workers, janitors, social workers, security officers, in-home caregivers, school and university employees, court workers, and city, county and state employees.
