Regarding the property maintenance/code enforcement issues, I have always wondered why the police don't do it? Why are there additional employees required for property maintenance enforcement when the cops are driving around? I would think it could be done in conjunction with their normal duties. Once it gets under control I would think a warning could be issued and if there is no compliance then they get a ticket. Each cop would be required to follow up on their warnings issued during their normal shift. Property maintenance laws are laws which can be enforced by law enforcement. Save $
