Recently, friends of ours from Australia visited our home in Cape May and they were floored by the fact that we pay to use our beaches. Australia is famous for their beaches and those who live there frequent them most every day. Their beaches are pristine clean too. "Never" was the comment from my friends, would they ever put up with a fee for using the beaches. My question to my fellow Americans, "Why do we"?
