RE: Karen Williams' 8/30 letter about LGBT & Religion. Williams wrote, "we decided not to look at specific texts and verses." Had they looked at the Bible, they would see that God condemns same-sex unions (many passages) and the concept of "trans" (Deut. 22:5). It is not "loving" to pretend that all behavior is approved of by God. Adultery, lying, coveting, reviling, and sex outside of God-ordained marriage are all examples of what God has called sin. You have the free will to go your own way (Adam & Eve did) or go God's way. "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" (Jos.24:15)
