Re: The Cold Spring comment on your observation of a geothermal heating and cooling system being installed today. Yes, it is a nice system, nice and pricey and not available to most homeowners because of the lot size needed for this type of system. Also, compared to a conventional HVAC system, when the geothermal system fails and they do fail, they are very expensive to repair. Again, they are a nice system but certainly not an end all for heating and air conditioning needs and not available and affordable for many of us.
