Police Dept's of Lower Township and Cape May should be enforcing the lack of common sense for these Electric Bikes and Scooters. Explain why they are different than a gas powered moped or scooter, these vehicles do 20-30 mph and are often on wrong side of Seashore Road and Ocean Drive on a daily basis. An accident, or even a vehicular homicide is eminent. As we saw in Ocean City for the young lady who was hit by a car and miraculously survived. By the way, she had a helmet but the strap wasn't on, sorry, but that is completely unacceptable. No insurance, no license, no registration required !
