“Cape May plans to lengthen its paid parking season”. That’s the reason I would never open a business there. A major consequence obviously unseen is the city can obviously control the traffic a business sees with this policy. Families like mine that used to come in the winter and stroll the mall, frequent the businesses that are open, get some coffee and something to eat, sometimes even lunch. It cost more than where we live, but felt we deserved the treat, but the endless quest for more money is a real turn off.
