People are surprised there's a manual labor shortage in this country. They complain that they can't find a decent carpenter, electrician or plumber. The good ones are too busy. This is a result of high schools pushing every single student to go to a four year college. We have eliminated shop and other hands on activities from the curriculum. While we need teachers, doctors and lawyers we also need skilled workers to keep this country running especially with our aging infrastructure.
