I’ve recently relocated to Cape May after almost a decade long stay out of the area. Who are these politicians claiming beaches in Cape May are safe. When is the last time they actually went in the ocean, not just stood up on the boardwalk looking like a lame duck. Cape May leads the East Coast with back, neck and bodily injuries and our season is less than four months. But the fact is the beach is safe. It’s the area where the waves crash that’s deadly. Ocean,no doubt, has inherent danger, but MediVac lands in Cape May more than any other shore town.
