It is not misinformation that Cape Regional OBGYN services are closed. The emergency room can do very little for OBGYN emergencies. Usually, OBGYN emergencies skip the ER, and go directly to the maternity unit. ER doctor cannot do emergency c-sections, or anything for severe post-partum bleeding... other than call a chopper or critical care transport to the nearest hospital with maternity services.
