It has seems apparent, during recent council meetings, that the person behind the invasive species ordinance is using this Draconian overreach to settle a neighborhood dispute. The list of prohibited species is so broad that it would result in the city losing much of the charm that makes our town so special. Just enforce the existing property maintenance guidelines and stop this burgeoning nightmare.
