I'm a real old senior citizen. People say I lived in the best of times. Eisenhower, etc, after WW 2. It was a good time but not for black people in this country. There was segregation that didn't have any thing to do with me or my classmates. We graduated and got jobs, didn't go to college. As I say it was good for some but not for all. I remember my mother worked in personnel of a company and came home and said they just hired the first black girl, that was a big deal!
