I'm not so sure about the LT response to the Coast Guard and what the city gets for schooling. I know when I was stationed at Cape May, every year we had to fill out a form allowing the school to get funds from the government for the Coast Guard families attending the school system. I believe it was based on the amount of kids times a set amount for each kid. Don't know the actual amount, but it was higher than the city gave for the "regular" children who resided in Cape May.
