I'm glad the WWC/Hershey spouter is proud of his ancestor's service at Antietam. Some of us are equally proud of our ancestors' service under the flags of the Confederacy. There was no legal reason preventing states from leaving the Union. The U.S. government unlawfully tried to stop their secession and illegally invaded the Confederate states. Does he know how many CSA civilians died in that war. Yes, slavery is evil, but that flag does not represent slavery. Most who died, both North and South, had no stake in slavery.
