I understand the Cape May councilman allegedly committed a crime and should have been arrested. No bail I don’t understand. Is he a threat to the community? Apparently just one person in this case. People who commit way worse crimes and causing havoc in the city have been arrested dozens of times get bail. I see the same names in the police reports every week and they get released without bail every time. I don’t get it. So much for the bail reform act.
