I read on Facebook that Mayor Mullock is bragging about not having raised taxes in 5 years and the surplus has grown over 100% in the same time period...what he did not mention is one of the primary reasons for this windfall is the result of all of the new construction and large additions to houses which add to the tax ratables which increases the tax collections without having to raise the tax rate
