I live near the NY border, and I am a frequent visitor to Cape May, especially off season. I’ve been to just about every NJ shore town, but Cape May is #1 and worth traveling the length of the GSP. I love everything about this town. The history, the flowers, the geography, the boardwalk, the beautiful homes, the restaurants, the wildlife, the bay, the sunsets, Christmas etc. I get a rush every time I see the mile post reach zero. Life’s not perfect, I could live without the weekend crowds, the winter wind and fully understand the frustration over affordable housing, but I’ll take CM any day.
