I don't think visitors understand Cape May City's trash and recycling situation. Residents pay private for trash. Please do not lift the lids on our trash can and put whatever you what to discard in them because if something is out in the trash and it's recycle we get charged a fee!!! Just like recycling days are not for trash. And the dumpster around town for various reasons are NOT for you. Take your trash home.
