I always look forward to the off season to enjoy our beaches and the ability to walk and play with my dog on the beach. Now I can’t sit at “the cove” to enjoy sunset. I’m threatened with fines if I run my dog on the beach just because stupid folks can’t figure out how to keep their distance - this includes locals. You know who you are! My pit bull pup pretty much guarantees social distancing (she’s really a sweetheart). Are police really going to enforce this new edict for a lone resident walking on the beach? My grand daughter loved to bike on the promenade. This whole situation is stinks.
