Have you noticed how many very fit people have handicap parking placards hanging from their rear-view mirrors, which entitles them to park at any parking meter free? This is an appropriate ordinance for assisting people with valid handicaps. Unfortunately, many very able-bodied people somehow obtain these placards to cheat the system. In my opinion, this is especially true among Cape May's beach tag staff. I never saw so many very fit people with free parking passes. Something really needs to be done to monitor the legitimacy of these placards.
