As far as the new proposed motel , It is just so big . As a born and raised local I am not surprised , every year seems to be less local , and more second homeowners . I believe it's 70% 2nd homes here now . The truth is , we can't do anything about it , except spout off . We cannot compete with that level of money . I am also a contractor , and 95% of my customers are not locals . we are just going to deal with it . along with electric bikes , golf carts , over priced parking meters , taxes , and very slow drivers .
