The current admistration needs to wake up. Given the dangerous shore break along the entire beachfront, they are more worried about the advancement of beach replenishment than they are about the safety and well being of the people. At what cost? The teenager who was injured in early August is paralyzed and the injury could have been prevented if the administration would step up to the plate and stand for the people. If they are concerned about the image of the city, it has already been touted by the lack of responsibility on the entire administration's behalf. Time to bolt!
