If you were close enough to hear police “INVITE” people in, you had already breached the outer barricades which were positioned at the street, (Constitution Ave, Independence Ave, First St. and Capital Plaza) not around the building itself, then you did indeed do SOMETHING wrong, it’s called trespassing on Restricted area, at a minimum. Yours is a tale told by someone who watched it, or at least “select” versions of it, on TV.
