That’s almost 1,000 times too little to refill Lake Mead, which holds 8.5 Trillion gallons of water. You would need 85 billion households holding 100 gallons each to fill Lake Mead, and as far as I know there’s only 7.75 billion people on the planet. But then, what about Lake Powell and all the rivers in Europe also running dry. How many additional gallons would those 93 million households have to hold to fill those again?
