Court House - Since the “Law of Conservation of Mass” dictates that matter can neither be created nor destroyed, all the “missing water” from rivers, lakes and reservoirs, worldwide, must exist somewhere else on the planet, in some other form. Since glaciers and ice sheets are shrinking, it’s not there. No doubt, much of it exists in the form of newly created ocean water, and atmospheric vapor. Since the US has experienced four, 1 in 1,000-year rainfalls this Summer alone, take a guess where a lot of it is. Those that continue to deny climate change, do so at our own peril.
