To the Spouter who “took issue” with the comparison of Summer 2020 and Jan 6, who asked: “Why can't people look at each event differently, and stop the "whatabouts"?” While I completely agree with you, it is the “right” that constantly defaulted to “Summer 2020”, anytime Jan 6 came up for the past 3 years. What’s wrong with throwing it back at them? Some have even gone so far as to claim the Summer of 2020 was the “real insurrection”, which is funny since no one called it that at the time. That “light bulb” only went on post Jan 6, which is just another attempt at “branding” by the right.
