For the first time ever, the Herald is dedicating the pages of Spout Off on 4/15 to a specific purpose—honoring every person, business, government entity or leader who is making a sacrifice for the benefit of the community in these trying times of the pandemic. At the Herald, we are forever grateful for the remarkable work of our health care providers, first responders, and other essential workers who are keeping us safe. We can’t wait to read about our community heroes and their actions that will remain in our hearts for years to come.

Cape May Court House - Why doesn't the President ever mention New Jersey? We are the 4th highest state infected by the coronavirus. He only liked Wildwood when he wanted our votes. We need testing kits and a pop-up medical facility here. HELLO! We care about our families too. We only have a small, neighborhood hospital treating many states that came here when they found out we had no cases. I'm guessing that they plan on never paying their hospital bills either, because hospitals aren't allowed to turn sick people away. I'm sure we don't have nearly enough respirators, which scars me.
