Because some kids are lazy, entitled, and mean. Gone are the days that teachers looked forward to going to work to see their students. Now teachers dread it because they are expected to teach kids who won’t even grab the materials from the back because they “don’t feel like it”. Kids fail but get pushed right along to the next grade. There are no consequences & kids know it. What is the point of teachers then? They’re treated as babysitters yet made to feel guilty for their students having low scores. Todays school system is atrocious.
