Electric cars have same safety regulations as gas powered vehicles. Helmets, permit/licensing, insurance should be required, especially now that there have multiple accidents involving children on public streets in Ocean City, Wildwood and Cape May. Change is inevitable, police need to be enforcing new regulations before someone gets killed.
