Cape May County - When colonists didn’t submit to British rule and started talking independence, the British didn’t take that well and retaliated by imposing punishment for nonexistent or minor infractions of law, and imposed excessive fines and taxes on business owners and individuals to suppress their freedom of choice. Sound familiar? That’s why when the constitution was drafted it included the 8th amendment against unfair punishment and fines and taxes against businesses or individuals. Trumps buildings aren’t going anywhere, all assets in NY are supervised by the court. Purely political, NY will lose big.
