Unpopular opinion: School is for learning, not dressing up like

Cape May County - Unpopular opinion: School is for learning, not dressing up like your peers every other week for any specific reason. “It’s all in good fun” it also puts more stress, and even financial pressure on families to participate. What happens when you have multiple children? This hardly seems like fun, more like a nuisance especially when it’s a constant biweekly occurrence. This type of activity is divisive when not everyone can participate. This sort of thing should be banned, let’s all dress up like we are elderly! What a weird thing that has become part of the standard syllabus. Signed, a parent.
