OUR government and it's cheerleaders have not only figured out that a divided nation works well for them and their supporters, they've gotten really good at exploiting it, the answer is not violence, it's "systematically" (you've heard that word used recently to divide us) depriving them of our labor, consumerism, attention, votes and support, the phrase "We the People" wasn't just chosen because it sounded good, it's because it does mean something.
