Cape May County - There really should be a homeless shelter in Cape May County. It’s a tragedy to see people on the streets freezing throughout the winter and even dying because of this. It needs to change and it needs to change fast. I feel so bad for everyone who is homeless, especially when I can’t do anything about it. If I could offer a place to live, I would, but I’m sure the county has enough funds to provide a home to people in need; even more so in the winter with temperatures below freezing during the night. It has been years and nothing has changed. It’s honestly very upsetting.
