Cape May County - There are big signs on 47 and 347 telling us it’s our tax dollars at work via the Infrastructure Bill. The problem is, those roads didn’t need to be redone. They were fine. What we need is our bridges rehabbed. When I broached this with our Congressman’s office a year ago the response was: they’re county projects- Can’t use the infrastructure $:for that. Of course you can. And it would be efficient use of the $, and on something needed. Instead, we’ll pay for that too and the tolls keep going up.
