Cape May County - Thanks Herald for Higbee’s beach article, highlighting residents valid concerns. I appreciate a 10 year effort, but bottom line is to make seawater flow in and out to rejuvenate the marsh, the resistance to flow from the bay must be decreased or water won’t flow in to start the process. This obviously increases the risk of excessive inflow during a storm. I love wildlife, but playing with Mother Nature when people are at risk should be very carefully considered, but has it been? Will people whose idea this is be here during a storm? DEP wants to remove snake river dams for a fish. Flooding?
