Why did China and Russia move to hybrid models combining communism, a more extreme form of socialism with a dictator, and capitalism. Look at oligarchs in Russia or heads of companies in China that disappear for a while if they have an independent streak, then reappear with an attitude change after they have been shown the “light” with a lighter wallet they “willingly” gave “for the good of the country” yeah right.
