Cape May County - As a senior citizen, I’m upset that we periodically hear that Social Security and Medicare are going to run out of money any minute, but the ever increasing welfare demands never seems to worry about running out of money. Why is that? I paid in, I expect pay out. The contract was I allow the government to take money out of my check for many many years, and then you give me a predetermined amount when I retire. There was no talk of chiseling me out of my money, it’s going to run out, we can’t pay. We had a contract. What should the response be when a contract is broken?
