Cape May County - As a retired teacher, I take offense at the comment from the Lower Township spouter. Teachers pay into unemployment, but cannot collect unemployment because of the nature of our employment contracts (10 months). I paid into unemployment for 35 years, and never collected one cent. I did, however, work a second job every summer to supplement my teaching salary. As a side note, teachers are not paid for hours of their time spent preparing or for the time spent doing grades. Teaching is DEDICATION! Get your facts straight before you spew nonsense!
