Cape May County - Residents in CMC got an email from their electric provider that rates have gone up 13% due to the cost of supply. This inflation is a direct result of more expensive “green” mandates. It further states that there is an additional 5% increase so the co. can pay for EVs and the “smart meters” they’ve forced so they can control usage. So we’re seeing an 18% increase. Did any of you get an 18% raise? In the US natural gas is abundant and clean. Revolutions in nuclear generation has made it the same, and safe.
